Shadow Show for Ray Bradbury

Harper Audio has produced SHADOW SHOW, a collection of new stories in honor of Ray Bradbury, who passed away in 2012. Names from Alice Hoffman and Margaret Atwood to Ramsey Campbell and Neil Gaiman are represented, as narrated by a full cast including George Takei, Kate Mulgrew, Dion Graham, Edward Herrmann, and F. Murray Abraham. Their styles may vary, but their feel for what Bradbury was trying to do---write literature with a bent toward the fantastic---is retained. Of particular delight is Kate Mulgrew's reading. The once Star Trek Voyager captain (and Mrs. Columbo) has also done video game voiceovers in addition to movies and plays. Bradbury biographer and author Sam Weller and writer Mort Castle edit the collection, which includes comments from the authors on how Bradbury influenced them.
